It is a Japanese designed clock, it is very sleek and fits well with modern decor. The clock I got was a red and black one. Why do I need red and black?? Well because I was wanting it for my sons BBQ mobile unit. We didn't have a clock in there and our chosen colors for the business is red and black. My daughter in law installed the clock, it was relatively easy to install. It had a template included to show you where to place each "dot" and where to place the mechanical part of the clock. Now this unit is mobile and has been moved several times since installation and it has stayed put. It keeps really good time. It states to use the older/cheaper type zinc batteries. You are not supposed to use alkaline batteries as it may damage the unit. The hands of the clock attach to the battery compartment with a magnet. It is made of light weight (maybe a bit too lightweight) materials, feels like aluminum. The dots attach to the wall with a strong tape located on the backs. It looks really nice on the BBQ units wall. It will definitely help us when we are competing and need to be done at a specific time, now we can just look up and see how close we are.
Now this is an unusual addition to my blog. I did have a problem with the first clock I received, however that was not the fault of the seller as his clock was packaged by Amazon poorly and the clock was damaged when I received it. It was bent and would not stay on the wall. Therefore, I contacted the seller and he immediately handled the situation and gave me a code for a new product for review. He was very kind and handled things like sellers should. The second clock was in perfect condition and did what it was supposed to. You have a years warranty to go along with the product as well and this seller does stand behind his warranty.
The only suggestions I would make to better the product would be to make the hands of the clock just a bit more stronger/sturdier and use a stronger magnet. But I do give the product 5 stars at this time, because it looks great on my wall and is keeping time perfectly, therefore doing what it was meant to do. The awesome customer service was impressive as well.

Addition to review 11/28/16-- This clock really needs to be postioned on a stationary wall..... I planned on using this in a mobile BBQ unit and the magnet was not strong enough to hold it in place. The clock needs to be placed in an area where it is safe from jarring or shaking. I really think it needs a stronger magnet to make this clock a better product.
